More than 50 per cent of the candidates who had registered for admission to undergraduate courses of Allahabad University had not deposited the registration fee till Monday.

Students were demanding from the university to extend the last date
Till Monday, 71,536 candidates had registered and 60,584 had opted for the undergraduate programme. However, only 33,917 candidates had deposited the fee. In such a situation, the candidates are demanding the university to extend the last date.
Director of Admissions Prof. JK Pati said that now the process of registration and submission of fees can be completed by August 20.
The date of application of CRET-2024 also extended
Allahabad University has also extended the application date for the Joint Research Entrance Test CRET-2024 to August 24. So far 9182 candidates have registered and 7303 have deposited the fees. Along with this, 36 PhD seats in the university also increased. In Zoology, 17 seats have been increased in CMP Degree College, 12 in Physics, two seats in University in English and two seats in Ishwar Sharan Degree College.
Ivi draws cutoff for nine courses
Allahabad University has released the cut-off for nine postgraduate courses. Admissions will begin on August 13. MA Ancient History, MA Philosophy, MA Sociology, MA Urdu, MA Vocal, MPA Tabla, MPA Vocal, MSc Food Technology and M.Voc Media Studies have drawn cutoffs.
Admission on new cutoff in Ishwar Sharan today
Ishwar Sharan Degree College has released a new cutoff on Monday. The unreserved cutoff for MA Economics is 65 marks, for OBC 65, SC 50 and ST category the cutoff is 40 marks.
The unreserved cutoff for M.Com is 105 marks, 95 marks in ancient history, 118 marks in medieval and modern history, 90 marks in Hindi, 140 marks in political science, 120 marks in sociology and 108 marks in English. Admissions will be on August 13.
Admission today on new cutoff in ADC
Allahabad Degree College has released a new cut-off on Monday. In this, the cut-off for ancient history is 50 marks, economics 60, English literature 60, geography 80, Hindi 60, modern and medieval history 50 marks, M.Com 90, mathematics and physics 100 marks. In Political Science, the EWS cutoff is 118, OBC 118, SC 100 and ST 50 marks.
